Managing Director

Steve, as the founder and Managing Director of Nxtmed brings copious amounts of experience since 2008. With a demonstrated history of working in the medical device industry Steve has developed and proven skills within the areas of biologics, medical devices, clinical support, sales operations as well as cross-functional team leadership.

Steve is and always strives to be a strong business development professional with qualifications in Sports Science from Edith Cowan University.

Steve’s passion is basketball where he played at a high level and still continues to play locally. More recently he has obtained a deep diving accreditation and has been enjoying all this brings.

Steves background is working within C.S.S.D. then on to being an Orthopaedic Technician since 2015. Steve also worked as a neuro-technician where he brings his expertise within theatre management and working alongside surgeons for over 7 years. The experience within theatres and working alongside surgeons enables him to have a full knowledge and expertise in sterilisation of surgical equipment.

Steve’s passion is cooking, smoking of meats, fishing and the outdoors.

Bree

Product Consultant

Brees background as a Senior Registered Nurse who commenced in theatres in 2014 has qualifications in peri-operative nursing, clinical nursing and currently completing her Masters. Focus project research was in theatre orthopaedics.

Bree was one of the original team within Nxtmed and brings with her a vast amount of knowledge, enthusiasm and experience to the team.

Bree has a passion for A.F.L. where she actively plays Australian Rules Football.

Rhiannon

Product Consultant

Rhiannon’s background in nursing since 2012 where she has been a perioperative nurse since 2013. With a diploma in nursing as well as a Bachelor of Science, over the years Rhiannon has spent her time in orthopaedic upper and lower limb as well as reconstructive surgeries including oral-maxillo-facial surgery. Rhiannon is the newest member to our team.

Rhiannon’s’ passion is exploring new culinary delights.

Julie

Office Administrator/Executive Assistant

Julie’s background is administration where she has worked within hospitals, surgeons offices as well as managing and overseeing a 200km region within the Goldfields “carer respite” working with medical teams to support her clients. Her career then took a change as Manager Corporate Services, focussing on financial management and human resources. Julie’s expertise has been in managing, leading and caring for her teams as her passion is seeing those she leads, grow and take on new challenges by training and upskilling them to be the best they can be. This has been achieved by organising professional development and training days as well as health and wellness events.

Julie’s qualifications include a Diploma in Business studies including shorthand typing and recently graduated through Deacon University, Grad Dip in Education Business Leadership.
