Bow and Arrow Evans Plates

The tapered “BOW” at the back of the plate helps to evenly distribute vertical pressure along the graft due to the anatomically matched taper, with the point decreasing risk of tearing or attenuation of the lateral aspect of the long plantar ligament.

Anatomic considerations were at the forefront of the Gorilla® BOW & ARROW® Evans Plate design. The low profile (thickness 1.15 mm) nature of the plate helps to minimize risk of soft tissue irritation. The ramped plantar aspect of the plate helps to minimize interference with the peroneal tendons and sural nerve. Locking screw technology allows for screw heads that are flush or below flush to the plate.
